Make Consistency Your Superpower
Consistency is key. Integrate content creation into your daily routine—if you find yourself wondering, “Should I be filming this?” the answer is almost always “YES.” I saw the most significant growth in followers and engagement when I began posting consistently. You don’t have to be great, and you definitely don’t have to be perfect—consistency is more important. Improvement will come with experience, so stay committed, keep learning, and know that you’ve got this.
Deliver Value That Keeps Audiences Coming Back
Create content that is helpful and enjoyable for you to make but also keeps your audience in mind. When you focus on solving problems and offering value, you’re setting yourself up for success. You know more than you think—someone out there could benefit from your experience and perspective! Think back to when you first started learning something that you’re really great at now. Create the content that would have helped you learn faster.
Get Organized and Stay on Track
Getting and staying organized has always been a challenge for me, so I keep it simple. While there are lots of apps and software out there, I use the Notes app on my iPhone. Google Docs also works great for this. The checklist feature provides a little extra boost of satisfaction when ticking the checkbox. Maximize Your Potential with the Right Tools
Keeping essential content creation tools within easy reach makes a big difference. CapCut has been a game-changer for me, consolidating all editing into one place. No more juggling multiple on app editing platforms—edit everything in CapCut, export, and it’s ready to post. Another tool I’m excited about is Opus Clip, an AI platform that automatically edits longer videos into shorter clips, making them primed for viral potential. There are other tools I’m exploring for marketing, but these two have been solid for my workflow.
Review, Refine, and Repeat for Lasting Growth
This process has worked for me, but you might need to adjust things to suit your own style. Once you find a rhythm, creating content will feel more streamlined. Just remember to stay flexible—if something changes, needs to change or isn’t working, don’t be afraid to pivot. Adaptation is part of the game! Be sure to use your platform's analytic tools and suggestions to optimize your content and channels. There are also 3rd party tools out there like VidIQ which is what I use for YouTube that can be a real game changer. It will guide you in the right direction for long term channel growth.
